‘Ready Or Not’: Details About Big E Donning The Fugees Singlet

Big E wore quite the special singlet on WWE Friday Night SmackDown. After cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase to win the WWE Title against Bobby Lashley on RAW, E showed up to his home turf on Friday Night SmackDown donning a New Day singlet that was based off the infamous Fugees album, The Score. The man behind the design was Jonathan Davenport and he shared his gratitude for the moment on Twitter.

“The NEW WWE CHAMP Big E stormed the ring in my #Fugees-inspired gear tonight and I couldn’t be happier with the job Main Event Gear did bringing it to life! Eternally grateful to Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston for their trust and support!”

Big E came out on the victory side of the street as he tagged with Finn Balor to beat The Usos on the 9/17 episode of SmackDown. E did happen to suffer a beat-down by Jimmy & Jey later on in the show.

Tony Deppen ‘Respects’ Ron Funches After GCW Match

Tony Deppen defeated comedian Ron Funches in a one-of-a-kind clash at GCW Highest. He did however have a little help from Funches’ funny friend in Paul Scheer, but Deppen Tweeted out some of his thoughts post-win, including praise for his recent rival.

After getting in the back, Ron Funches handed me a peace treaty; but it was disguised as a blunt. We smoked, I calmed down, and thanked him for taking our sport serious by putting in the work. Doesn’t mean I like him, but I have a little respect for him,” Tony Tweeted.
