Lucha Brothers Retain AEW Tag Team Titles Against The Acclaimed

The Lucha Brothers are still your AEW Tag Team Champions after what was a battle of a bout between them and The Acclaimed on AEW Rampage. As the challengers, Max Castor and Anthony Bowens came out first and per usual, Castor had some rhymes to drop on the host city of Philadelphia that included digs at Ben Simmons and Rocky Balboa.

Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix puled out their innovative offense that got the Philly crowd riled up, but Bowens get to show his striking ability as well. Bowens set Rey Fenix up for Max Castor’s Mic Drop, but Penta saved his younger brother and hit a double team piledriver for the hard-earned victory. This leaves the Lucha Brothers tag team record in 2021 undefeated.
