After the October 14 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, IMPACT has a solidified X-Division Championship Match for Bound for Glory, a new Superstar officially on the roster and slated to compete at the event, and the bookend competitors for the Call Your Shot Gauntlet.
On the most recent episode of IMPACT, El Phantasmo punched his ticket to Bound for Glory and will be competing in the X-Division Championship match against Trey Miguel and Steve Maclin.
Another addition to the card and official addition to the roster is Heath. No longer having a last name, the former Heath Slater has officially signed a contract to face Violent by Design at Bound for Glory and while his partner is not set in stone, he is hoping to reform his team with Rhino.
It’s worth noting that Heath signed a contract on IMPACT Wrestling TV, but it appears that he might have been under contract already. When speaking to WrestleZone during a recent interview, Heath said he originally signed with the company at the Bound For Glory 2020 event, which is also the same day he got hurt.
“It was so crazy, and I always joke around with the boys and production people and I always tell them last year that when IMPACT signed me, it was probably the worst investment that they ever made. [laughs] Just because I only did a handful of shows with them then we talked out a deal that I was happy with, they were happy with,” Heath said. “I literally signed the deal, then a few hours later at Bound For Glory, I got hurt and it was just done. I’m just like, ‘oh sh-t, you’ve got to be kidding me!’”

After a competitive 20-man battle royal, it was also determined that W. Morrissey will enter the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match last while former IMPACT World Champion, Chris Sabin will enter the match first.
