Corey Graves Interested In Wrestling Again, WWE Files For New Trademark

Corey Graves Interested In Wrestling Again

Corey Graves technically participated in a match last week on RAW when he rolled up Akira Tozawa to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.

He quickly lost the title seconds later to Byron Saxton, but the little taste of action Graves got left him wanting more. After the conclusion of RAW, Graves tweeted ‘I kinda wanna wrestle again.’

Graves cryptically teased the desire to wrestle again earlier this year when he said he was put on this world to do something specifically, and what he was doing now was not that.

Speaking on his podcast this week, Graves went into more detail about being serious about wanting to wrestle again. He said “Watching it honestly, it was inspiring. At two or three different points, I went like, ‘Man, I live in Pittsburgh now. I should go find Dr. Maroon.’ It just gave me that urge to do it all over again, but I don’t know if that’s possible. The thought was planted in my brain for quite some time.”

Superstars such as Daniel Bryan and Edge have defied the odds by overcoming career ending injuries to return to the ring, and others including Paige are doing everything they can to make their own return. Time will tell what Graves decides to do.
