Keith Lee Says ‘RIP To That Singlet,’ Teases Return To Familiar Look

Keith Lee is looking forward to the future.

Keith Lee posted the following on Twitter, officially bidding adieu to the singlet-style wrestling attire that he wore towards the end of his WWE career.

Final moments….RIP to that singlet. It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds.

The photo Lee posted was from his final match in WWE, a win over Cedric Alexander on the October 25, 2021 episode of WWE RAW. Lee wrestled in trunks for most of his career, including during his run on NXT, but he was asked to switch to a singlet/vest upon being called up to WWE RAW last year. In addition to the change in attire, Lee also had his “Limitless” theme changed, as well as changing his name to “Bearcat Lee” in recent months.

Lee recently confirmed that the ‘Bearcat’ moniker he was given this year was not his idea, and last year explained that he wrote his new main roster theme song himself. It was reported that WWE was encouraging talent to change their theme songs because of licensing issues with CFO$, the composing duo that is no longer working with the company.

Keith Lee was released by WWE on November 4; he shared a statement a few days later (his birthday) where he said that it was a birthday that he was grateful for. Lee also said he’s looking forward to the future, noting that he was “capable of so much more” and “can’t wait to see what it looks like properly.” Lee later posted a photo of himself in his normal trunks without a caption, hinting that he would be returning to the look that made him famous in the first place.
