Adam Cole Not Worried About Getting Lost In The Shuffle In AEW: No Matter Where I Am, I Always Become THE Guy

Adam Cole is not worried about getting lost in the shuffle in AEW like many fans believed he did in WWE.

All Elite Wrestling star Adam Cole recently appeared on Rasslin’ with Brandon Walker on Barstool Sports and Mr. Bay Bay would delve into how fans shouldn’t worry about him getting lost in the mix in AEW like many believed he did in WWE. Asked about not getting called up to RAW or SmackDown in WWE and how he sees his trajectory going in AEW, Cole said the difference is that his current employer does a great job of building the whole card and fans shouldn’t be concerned about him getting lost in the shuffle.

“So, I think the big difference here is looking at AEW the company as a whole, objectively. So, the biggest thing that AEW does so well, is whether you’re in the first match, in the middle of the card or in the main event, AEW does an excellent job of making every single person feel special. Like I said, whether you hold a title, whether you don’t hold a title,” Cole noted, “a lot of people in that company feel like stars, because they are, and because AEW does a great job of building talent in many different ways.

“Also, for anyone who’s concerned, if you look at kind of where we’re going, I’m a member of The Elite, the number one heel faction in all of AEW. Between the matches that I’ve had with guys like Jungle Boy and the pay-per-view match that we had, I’ve gone face-to-face with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page before,” he explained, “there are things that are happening to Adam Cole that I promise people are going to be satisfied with, very, very happy with. And at the end of the day, whether it’s Ring Of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, NXT or AEW — I always end up becoming the guy and this is not going to be any different, I promise you. I promise you, because I’m Adam Cole, Bay Bay.”

Adam Cole also spoke about what went into his decision to leave WWE, explaining how much losing his working relationship with Shawn Michaels played a factor. Read more about Cole’s bond with Michaels at this link.
