Scotty 2 Hotty will be free to work where he wants soon.
Scotty 2 Hotty (Scott Garland) requested his release from WWE on November 23, and has now revealed he will be free of his non-compete clause on December 23, confirming he had been under a 30-day non-compete.
Garland has been working as a coach at the WWE Performance Center for the past several years, first making a guest coaching appearance in 2016. Appearing as Scotty 2 Hotty, Garland worked for WWE as an in-ring talent from 1997 to 2007.
My non compete with WWE ends on December 23. Here are my top 10 goals to accomplish in professional wrestling in 2022, in no particular order.
It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks, filled with so many positive texts, comments, and phone calls. It has been overwhelming awesome and I can’t thank you all enough. I can’t wait to see you all down the road in 2022.

Scotty’s list of goals includes finally wrestling in Mexico and returning to Japan and the UK. He also said that he’d like to wrestle on national television again and most importantly, have fun.
Scotty 2 Hotty already has one booking set for next year, as he’s been confirmed for ISPW’s Valentine’s Vengeance event in New Jersey on February 18, 2022. Scotty’s appearance at ISPW will mark his first indie wrestling appearance since he and “Grandmaster Sexay” Brian Christopher teamed at Hoosier Pro Wrestling’s Anniversary Show on November 5, 2016.
