Will Ospreay Wins Warrior Wrestling Championship At Warrior Wrestling 17

Will Ospreay has won the Warrior Wrestling Championship.

At Warrior Wrestling 17, Ospreay defeated the champion, Trey Miguel and Blake Christian in a Triple Threat Match for the title.

Miguel, the reigning IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion, had held the gold for more than a year; he won the championshi at a Stadium Series show on September 26, 2020 by defeating Brian Pillman Jr. and Brian Cage.

In a tweet after Ospreay’s victory, he posted a picture of himself with all his titles, seemingly teasing his intention to become the new “belt collector.”

Ospreay is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, and he is the current RevPro British Heavyweight Champion. He currently leads the United Empire stable in NJPW, and he’s set to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 16 Night Two.
