Cesaro Knows He Is ‘The Better Man’ Between Himself And Sheamus

Following a tough loss to Sheamus last night on Friday Night SmackDown, Cesaro said that even though he was once again interfered with, he still believes he’s better than Sheamus any day of the week.

Speaking backstage after he lost a singles match to Ridge Holland, Cesaro lamented the fact that once again, he was in an unfair situation. “To be honest, it’s not just aggravating, it’s also frustrating,” Cesaro said on the loss. “Because, I’m trying to get back on a roll, trying to land back on feet, this year has not gone like I wanted at all, and insult to injury, Sheamus brings [Ridge Holland] along and tells me that I’m old news.”

The match itself ended after Sheamus — who was ringside with Holland — distracted Cesaro and helped his friend. Cesaro said that regardless of anything, though, Sheamus knows deep down that Cesaro “is the better man” between the time them nine times out of ten. Following another disappointing outing in the ring, it’ll be interesting to see just how Cesaro responds against his former friend.
