The Street Profits Earn RAW Tag Title Shot At WWE Day 1

The Street Profits and the Mysterios clashed in the finals of the RK-Bro-Nament this week on WWE RAW. The winner of this match would earn a shot at RK-Bro‘s WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. In the end, The Street Profits proved how badly they want the smoke.

Throughout the bout, Montez Ford showcased his remarkable athleticism while both teams generally demonstrated the chemistry that previously led them to the top of the tag team division.

In one highlight, both Mysterios hitting tandem sunset flips off the top rope to drop the Street Profits outside the ring. Later in the match, Ford and Angelo Dawkins rallied and eventually won the contest after Ford hit his signature splash onto Dominik Mysterio.

Due to the victory, the Street Profits will challenge RK-Bro for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship at WWE Day 1 on January 1.

Upon the confirmation of the bout, WWE shared the following preview on its official website:

The Street Profits want the smoke, and they will get just that from RK-Bro.

After prevailing over Rey & Dominik Mysterio in the finals of the prestigious RK-Bro-nament, Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford have earned the right to challenge Randy Orton & Riddle for the Raw Tag Team Championship on the first night of 2022. The Viper and The Original Bro defeated Otis and Chad Gable respectively in back-to-back singles matches on the same night the Profits won the tournament, so there is no telling which duo has more momentum heading into this blockbuster showdown for the titles.

So will it be ‘Tez and Dawks raising the Raw Tag Team Championship high, or will RK-Bro kick off the new year by retaining the gold?
