Eric Bischoff is back in blech.
Monday’s episode of WWE RAW saw Eric Bischoff return in a cameo role as the official for The Miz and Maryse’s marriage re-commitment ceremony. The segment resulted in the couple (and Bischoff) being on the receiving end of a Brood Bath by Edge, and Bischoff shared his comments on the situation with WWE’s Megan Morant on RAW Talk:
“Well, Edge is a very intense performer, very intense WWE Superstar. Nothing surprises me, and the relationship between the three of them has deteriorated to the point that one should expect something like this to happen. It was such a beautiful ceremony and it was so heartfelt, and when Miz broke into his French, I got teary, I got weepy.”
Bischoff then talked about why he was in the area this week and plugged his AdFreeShows.com podcast.
“It’s the holiday season, so I’m visiting friends and family and I’ve got my podcast, 83 Weeks, I do every week and it drops every Monday at 6:30 am wherever you get your favorite podcasts. So I’m doing that and a couple of other things to keep myself busy.”
Morant said Bischoff’s days as an officiant might be over, and he replied that he’s giving that all up.
“It’s just not worth it, the wear and tear on my wardrobe, it’s just not worth it.”
Bischoff also posted the following on Twitter on Tuesday morning, offering a thank you to the performers he got to share the ring with on Monday night.
