Hi, I’m Johnny Knoxville, welcome to … the Royal Rumble?
It appears that Jackass star Johnny Knoxville is throwing his name into the ring for the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble. In a recent Instagram post made by Knoxville, the actor said that he wanted to do something big, and would be making a “run for the Rumble.” In the video, Knoxville took shots at WWE Champion Big E and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, calling them “Little E” and “Roman Ruins,” respectively.
WWE mentioned Knoxville’s video on the Day 1 broadcast, making things official for the Royal Rumble match. His upcoming film Jackass Forever does release a couple of days after the Royal Rumble, so this will likely be a tie-in for the film when the time comes. The 2022 Royal Rumble pay-per-view is set to take place on January 29, 2022, and will be broadcast on WWE Network.
The relationship might seem like an odd pairing, but Knoxville and the Jackass crew have appeared on WWE TV in years past. Knoxville made his debut in 2008 to play off of an internet skit with The Great Khali, who appeared on the former’s old web series, One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer. taking part in a backstage segment with RK-BroThe Jackass crew even made a recent appearance on SmackDown, on December 10.

Happy New Year’s Day and love to everyone. I have a big announcement that I have been dying to get off of my chest. I spent a lot of times over the holiday thinking about how i wanted to start off my 2022, and I decided I want to do it kicking ass and taking names.
