Chase Owens Has Come To The End Of His NJPW Contract

The Crown Jewel of the Bullet Club has announced that his deal with New Japan Pro-Wrestling expires today, January 31.

Chase Owens, who signed a multi-year agreement in February of 2020, revealed on Twitter that today was the final day of his new Japan contract. He is a member of Bullet Club and is a former NJPW King Of Pro-Wrestling trophy holder. Chase Owens last wrestled on the second night of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 in the KOPW Trophy 4-Way. That match also featured CIMA, Minoru Suzuki, and Toru Yano.

Owens announced earlier this month that he had tested positive for COVID but was on the mend. Currently, several of his Bullet Club cohorts are featured on IMPACT Wrestling television.
