Cesaro: My Time On The Indies Is The Foundation To Everything I Do

Cesaro holds immense value and understanding for how wrestling on indies shaped him as a star. In a recent clip by Reality of Wrestling, Cesaro took a moment to talk about his time spent working independent promotions, stating how being in such intimate settings made you more aware and responsive to the smaller audience and therein, a better wrestler.

“I feel that’s really learn your craft. That’s where you learn, how you adapt, how to change, how to find something that works. To me, it’s kind of the foundation to everything I do,” he said.

You can check out the brief clip below before Cesaro gets interrupted by Big E introducing himself to a live Houston crowd.

Cesaro was not involved in the Royal Rumble, but he did receive high praise from the aforementioned Big E regarding his desire for the Swiss Superman to win.

“I saw Big E say in an interview he’d like to see me win, and that was very nice. I appreciate the support of my colleagues, but unfortunately, that did not happen,” Cesaro said in a recent Sports Illustrated interview.
