Mia Yim is coming back to the ring.
The former WWE star has been sitting on the sidelines since she was released in a wave of budget cuts in November 2021. Though other members of the group, such as Keith Le, have returned to action since the expiration of their 90-day non-compete clauses on February 2, Yim hasn’t ventured back out into the wrestling.
In a post on Instagram, Yim shared her mindset surrounding her return. She referenced the fact that she and Lee got married, and they’re also moving, which is why she opted to wait until March to focus her energy on wrestling. For now, Yim’s priority is getting everything “handled at home.”
The Instagram post is as follows:
To those wondering why I’m not back in the ring yet. February is a busy month. With the wedding and the move, I decided to not take any bookings until March to focus on getting everything handled at home first. So don’t worry, I’ll see you all in the ring in March. #HBIC
Yim starred on NXT prior to her call-up to the main roster in 2020. Though she was a member of the RETRIBUTION faction, she rarely wrestled before she stopped appearing on television. Yim reportedly moved to the SmackDown brand, but she was never used prior to her release.
While fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Yim return to the ring, Lee is back in the spotlight; he signed with AEW and qualified for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match.
