Dolph Ziggler Wins NXT Championship On WWE NXT Roadblock

There’s a new “Top Dawg” in WWE NXT 2.0 and it’s Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler shocked the wrestling world as he secured the NXT Title in the triple threat main event of the special “Roadblock” episode on March 9. The now-former champion Bron Breakker showcased plenty of his talents as he faced Ziggler and Tomasso Ciampa to close out the show, but it was Dolph who got the 1-2-3 on Ciampa. His pinfall did come with an asterisk in Robert Roode, who pulled Breakker off a surefire pinfall on “The Showoff.” Ziggler subsequently pinned Ciampa to win the gold.

Breakker previously won the title on the special “New Year’s Evil” episode in January.
