Women’s Wrestling Army will kick off on May 1.
Maria Kanellis-Bennett previously announced that she’s starting a Women’s Wrestling Army, but additional details were unclear. Kanellis-Bennett and the promotion itself announced that the first show will be held at Fete Music Hall in Rhode Island on May 1 in conjunction with Women’s Wrestling Revolution Plus (WWR+).

In another tweet, Kanellis-Bennett noted that Women’s Wrestling Army will release a press release, which will reveal more information about the concept and its goals, next week.

Kanellis-Bennett was renowned for her work in rebuilding the Ring of Honor Women’s Division throughout 2021. This process, which featured a tournament for the title, was chronicled in a documentary earlier this year. More information is available here.
In recent months, Kanellis-Bennett has been frequently appearing on IMPACT Wrestling programming. She has been the manager of Honor No More, and the stable will face Bullet Club on next week’s episode.
