Before she defends her WWE RAW Women’s Championship against Sonya Deville on this Monday’s upcoming episode of WWE Raw, Bianca Belair will defend the title against Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch during a WWE event in Augusta, Georgia over the weekend. In a recent interview with Fox 54, she said she has no plans to relinquish her belt.
“I’m so ready to be in Augusta to defend my title against Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch,” said Belair of the upcoming house show. “I just got it!,” she declares, motioning toward the championship belt glimmering behind her, “so I’m going to hold on to it and I’m not planning on letting it go anytime soon, especially Sunday in Augusta.”
Elsewhere in the discussion, Belair spoke about her love of WWE live events, and praised how it gives WWE superstars the ability to interact with the crowd and have matches that fans might not usually get to see on normal WWE television broadcasts.
“The live events are so much fun,” Belair said. “[WWE SuperStars] are able to interact with the crowd, and we’re able to have matches that you might not usually see on RAW or SmackDown.” For those reasons, the SmackDown Champion warns, “You don’t want to miss the show in Augusta.”
