Report: Mia Yim Has Signed A Six-Month Contract With IMPACT Wrestling

Mia Yim has returned to IMPACT Wrestling, and she’s set to remain with the company for the short-term future.

Yim arrived at IMPACT Under Siege on May 7 and saved AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Taya Valkyrie from Deonna Purrazzo.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select subsequently reported that Yim has signed a six-month contract wuth the company, which would take her through the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. He noted that Yim and IMPACT “aren’t opposed” to working together beyond that.

Yim previously starred in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling as Jade; she won the Knockouts Championship, and she became the Queen of the Knockouts in 2016. She left the promotion in 2017 and signed with WWE in 2018.

WWE released Yim on November 4, 2021; she hadn’t wrestled since December 2020, when she faced Nikki Cross on Main Event. Yim returned to the ring at the WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show on March 31.
