Sonny Kiss sets the record straight.
Kiss made her debut at IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory event in October, appearing as a surprise entrant in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royal.
Despite her appearance, Sonny Kiss says she’s still a free agent. Kiss spoke with TK Trinidad for Women’s Wrestling Talk. Trinidad mentioned the reports about Sonny’s status, but the Concrete Rose says she hasn’t signed a contract yet.
“That’s so funny because I’m like, damn we can’t even get right into the interview yet. We didn’t even start asking how I’m doing. It’s like — let me just tell everybody that’s not true. It’s not what it is right now. I’m open to what’s for me. I’m still a free agent. I am one talented son of a… I’m open to whoever, wherever I’m supposed to be.”
Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously reported that Kiss would be a regular with the company going forward, but there was no indication that Kiss had signed a contract with IMPACT.
Kiss commented on her IMPACT debut, writing that it was only a matter of time before IMPACT called “The Concrete Rose.”
“I’ve been making an #Impact in professional wrestling for quite some time now. It was only a matter of time before @IMPACTWRESTLING called the Concrete Rose,” Kiss wrote.
