NXT In Your House Result: Mandy Rose vs. Wendy Choo (NXT Women’s Championship)

Mandy Rose continues to rack up the wins, as she came into tonight’s NXT In Your House event and defended her NXT Women’s Championship in a big win against Wendy Choo.

The match started with some controversy, as Rose attacked Choo prior to the bell ringing, kickstarting a surprisingly intense bout between the two superstars. In the end, though, Rose was able to knock Choo off of the top rope late in the match and then hit a running knee on her for the win.

Rose attacks Choo before the bell rings. Choo fires back and lands a big boot. Choo misses the nap time elbow. Rose unloads on Choo with rights and lefts. Rose chokes Choo on the bottom rope. Choo kicks out. Rose continues her assault. Choo fires up but Rose hits a reverse gutbuster for a near fall. Choo and Rose trade pin attempts. A strike exchange breaks out. Overhead suplex by Choo. Choo lands a handspring elbow in the corner. Nap Time Elbow by Choo. Rose rolls out of the ring.

Choo tries another Cartwheel attack but Rose counters with a spinebuster on the ramp! Choo is writhing in pain as Rose rolls back in the ring and poses with her title. Narrowly avoiding a count-out, Choo manages to get back in the ring. Rose hits another spinebuster. Choo kicks out. Rose destroys Choo’s pillow. Choo kicks Rose in the face. Choo opens her jacket and she has on a Toxic Attraction shirt that she has drawn all over. Sleeper by Choo. Rose rolls into the ropes. Choo goes up top. Rose knocks her off and hits her running knee for the win.
