WWE Announces Date And Venue For Extreme Rules 2022

WWE Extreme Rules is returning to “The Land of the Extreme.”

WWE has confirmed that the Premium Live Event will be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on October 8.

The official announcement, courtesy of WWE’s website, is as follows:

As first announced by “The Philadelphia Inquirer,” WWE Extreme Rules will take place Saturday, Oct. 8 live from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.  The Premium Live Event will stream live exclusively on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.

Philadelphia previously hosted WWE Extreme Rules in 2019. The 2021 edition emanated from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio; in the main event, Roman Reigns defeated “The Demon” Finn Balor to retain the WWE Universal Championship.
