Richard Holliday Pulls Out Of Appearance Due To Injury, Updated ISPW Summerfest Lineup

Richard Holliday is down, but not out.

Major League Wrestling’s Richard Holliday posted the following statement, confirming he had to drop out of a scheduled appearance for Independent Superstars of Professional Wrestling (ISPW) in Butler, New Jersey on Friday night. According to Holliday, he’s dealing with an undisclosed injury and is putting his health first.

“Due to injury I will unfortunately not be appearing at @ISPWWrestling tonight in NJ,” Holliday wrote. “I have to put my health first in this situation, but I will be back there soon.”

Holliday did not disclose what type of injury he was dealing with. He made a scheduled appearance at MLW Battle Riot IV in New York City on Thursday night and is being advertised for a title match against Alex Hammerstone at the company’s Kings Of Colosseum event on July 14.

Holliday was originally scheduled to face off with LSG at ISPW SummerFest; WrestleZone has learned that TJ Epixx has been named the new opponent for LSG.

ISPW SummerFest is scheduled to take place at St. Anthony of Padua Gym in Butler, NJ. The lineup features “The Superstar” Danny Morrison (w/Maven) defending the ISPW World Heavyweight Championship against Tommy Dreamer. There is plenty of history between the two, as Morrison is fka Danny Doring in ECW.
