Angelo Dawkins Responds To Those Saying He Is Inferior To Montez Ford

The spotlight always points to Montez Ford when talking about The Street Profits and Angelo Dawkins is well aware of that.

Speaking with Corey Graves on ‘After the Bell‘, Dawkins responded to those that say he is ‘second fiddle’ and inferior to teammate Montez Ford in WWE.

Dawkins said “I’d be lying if I said I ain’t hear all the talk on the internet. I see it all the time with Tez. Tez is second-world, like, that dude’s a freak of nature. That’s my brother. I know he’s good, I know he’s talented. He’s destined to become the World Champion. But then, on the other hand, I saw people talking about me like I’m like some scrub or whatever and I’m like, ‘Oh, wait a minute, hold up. Like, oh, they must not know about me. Okay, cool’, and it kind of like, that took me back to when I first started in a way.”

Reports surfaced backstage over the past few months that WWE creative wanted to push Montez Ford as a singles star, leaving some thinking Angelo Dawkins would be lost in the fold.

Angelo continued by talking about his performance over the past few weeks. He said, “I had to remind everybody like, hey, dawg, you’re gonna have to put some respect on my name like, the talk is starting to piss me off now. Now you’re about to see a different me. I’m very unselfish. I do whatever I can to make the match great. Tez is obviously the more out-there guy, so I don’t mind being in the background.”
