Arnold Schwarzenegger Accused Of Deliberately Farting In Actor’s Face On ‘End Of Days’ Set

Miriam Margolyes says she still hasn’t forgiven Arnold Schwarzenegger for farting in her face on the set of End Of Days.

Margolyes recently made an appearance on the I’ve Got News For You podcast and shared that she didn’t care for working with Arnold Schwarzenegger on the 1999 film, alleging that he deliberately farted in her face.

“I didn’t like the wrestler, from Austria. Schwarzenegger, I couldn’t think of his name for a minute. Schwarzenegger, I didn’t care for him,” she stated. “He’s a bit too full of himself and I don’t care for him at all. He’s a Republican, which I don’t like and he was actually quite rude. He farted in my face. Now, I fart — of course, I do — but I don’t fart in people’s faces. He did it deliberately right in my face.”

Margolyes didn’t recall what date it happened but said that it happened on set in Los Angeles.

“I was playing Satan’s sister and [Arnold’s character, Jericho Cane] was killing me, so he had me in a position where I couldn’t escape and [I was] lying on the floor. And he just farted! It wasn’t on film, it was in one of the pauses,” she noted, “but I haven’t forgiven him for it.”

End Of Days told the story of a former police officer trying to protect a young woman from conceiving the Antichrist with Satan, the Antichrist.

The film received mostly negative reviews, but it is probably best remembered (in case you were wondering why this story was on a pro wrestling website) for being the reason behind Arnold Schwarzenegger’s WWE debut. Arnold appeared on the November 10, 1999 episode of SmackDown where he provided commentary and ended up beating up Triple H.

Schwarzenegger had made other appearances in WWE since then, as he also inducted Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013 and he made another promotional appearance on RAW in 2014 for his film Sabotage. Schwarzenegger was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015 as a celebrity nominee and he was also featured as a playable character (as his Terminator character) in WWE 2K16.
