Riddle On Facing Seth Rollins: There’s Nothing Better Than Going Against One Of The Best In The World

Riddle is ready to face “one of the best in the world” at SummerSlam.

WWE’s “Original Bro” recently sat down with ProSieben MAXX in Germany to discuss several topics ahead of SummerSlam. At WWE’s biggest event of the summer, Riddle will take on Seth Rollins, who he believes is the best wrestler going right now.

“Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins is probably one of the best, greatest wrestlers to be doing it right now in this era. To be on the SummerSlam card against Seth Rollins, dude. Other than fighting for a world title or something like that, there’s nothing bigger than going against one of the best in the world on one of the biggest shows in the world in one of the biggest companies in the world. So, pretty, pretty excited, bro.”

Riddle recently worked with another wrestler who has been hailed as “the greatest” in Randy Orton. Riddle says he has learned a lot from his tag team partner.

“Working with Randy, you know, you learn a lot. The guy’s the Viper, the Legend Killer. He is Randy Orton for a reason. The biggest thing I can do is just watch and pick his brain to see what he does and why does it, and things like that. I’ve noticed if I ask, I kind of get a different answer. The best way to do is just watch what he does, and you know, that’s what I do.” Riddle added, “Randy helps me when I need it, you know, when I say something I shouldn’t.”

Randy Orton isn’t the only one who tells Riddle when he says something he shouldn’t, but that doesn’t prevent him from turning up his character for the cameras.

“It’s always dial it more up. I never want to dial it down. The only time I dial it down is if someone tells me I crossed the line, and I did something, what have you. Always dial it up, turn it up, be entertaining. Be as much as you possibly can because we need that to translate on camera and to people all around the building. So that’s just how I look at that.”
