Report: Brandi Rhodes Returns To The Ring At WWE In-House Live Event

Brandi Rhodes has returned to the ring.

Rhodes hasn’t officially wrestled since January, when she faced KiLynn King on the January 31 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. She and her husband, Cody Rhodes, subsequently left the company in February, and the latter signed with WWE. He quickly become one of the company’s top stars before he went down with a torn pectoral in June. Meanwhile, Brandi has focused on other projects.

In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Brandi returned to the ring during an in-house live event at the WWE Performance Center on August 12. These shows are common practice for WWE because they give talent the chance to practice. It’s unclear which match she was involved in at the show. Johnson wrote that Brandi is not listed on WWE’s internal roster.

Likewise, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful subsequently reported that Rhodes competed in a match at the Performance Center against a “newer talent.” He noted that she had been seen at the Performance Center before that. Sapp previously reported that Rhodes has maintained a good relationship with WWE, particularly since Cody signed with the company. Sapp also noted that she has continued to wrestle at the Nightmare Factory in recent months.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.

Rhodes recently commented on her plans to continue her in-ring career. You can check out her comments here.
