A WWE NXT star has gone viral over a unique wrist lock counter.
Ahead of this past Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT, Jessica Bogdanov/ The Unknown competed against Skylar Raye in a dark match. During the contest, Raye locked Bogdanov in a wrist lock. However, she escaped it with a unique counter, putting her gymnastics experience to good use.
Bogdanov countered the wrist lock by lifting her left leg for a quick one-legged kick/push to change the angle and followed it up with an elbow strike to break free. However, she couldn’t pick up the win despite her impressive performance. She posted the clip on her Instagram stories, which was then reposted to X/Twitter, where it quickly went viral, getting over a million views.
Jessica Bogdanov signed with WWE in November 2025 after participating in a tryout during the 2025 SummerSlam weekend in New Jersey. While she has competed in a few NXT live events and dark matches before TV tapings, she is yet to make her televised debut.
Bogdanov is well-known in the gymnastics industry and has received awards and accolades at the Pan American Games and the USA Gymnastics Rhythmic Championships. She is also the 2015 Freestyle Calisthenics World Champion.
