Santana Garrett Returns To WWE As Performance Center Coach (Updated)

Santana Garrett is seemingly back in WWE.

In a tweet on August 29, Garrett posted a picture of herself wearing a WWE shirt and wrote, “This is not a throwback.” She used hashtags like “#WWE”, “#NXT”, “#PC”, “#Coach”, and “#Performance Center”, seemingly implying that she is working for the company in some capacity as a coach,

Garrett has plenty of experience in the wrestling world; she debuted in 2009, and she has competed for various companies, including TNA/IMPACT, Shine, STARDOM, and WOW. In the past, she has wrestled on NXT, and she also participated in the first Mae Young Classic in 2017. She signed with WWE in 2019, and in addition to wrestling on NXT, she also appeared on RAW. Garrett was an entrant in the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match, but the company released her on June 2, 2021. She made several appearances for AEW later the same year.

Among other accolades, Garrett is a former NWA World Women’s Champion and Women of Wrestling World Champion.

Update: It was subsequently revealed that Garrett is working as a guest coach at the WWE Performance Center.
