AEW Full Gear

Reported Location For AEW Full Gear 2022

AEW Full Gear is reportedly heading to a new host city.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that while the company hasn’t officially named a host city or venue for the pay-per-view, AEW has told talent that the working plan is for Full Gear to be held in Newark, New Jersey, in early November. In an update, Sapp noted that the plan is for the show to be on the weekend of November 19-20.

AEW previously ran TV tapings in September 2021 and January 2022. These shows were held at the Prudential Center, and the first one reportedly drew almost 14,000 in attendance. Prudential Center has not been confirmed as the venue yet, but given this history, the choice is possible.

Full Gear 2021 was held in the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 2020 version emanated from Daily’s Place, AEW’s base of operations during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The inaugural Full Gear event was held in Baltimore, Maryland in 2020.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
