Yulisa Leon is injured.
In a backstage segment during the September 13 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Yulisa Leon appeared with a knee brace on. She revealed to her tag team partner Valentina Feroz that she has suffered a tear and the doctors expect her to be out of action for nine months.
Leon has been featured on NXT 2.0 and NXT Level Up this year. Alongside Feroz, she competed in the 2022 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and was also featured in a four-way Women’s Tag Team Championship match last month.
It remains to be seen what kind of injury Leon suffered and when exactly she will be back.
Feroz commented on the news in a tweet; she stated that the duo will reunite when Leon returns.
