AEW has announced the star-studded lineup for AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.
On September 23, Eddie Kingston will finally battle Sammy Guevara. The rivals were feuding ahead of AEW All Out, but Kingston got suspended after a physical confrontation with Guevara backstage, so the match was pulled from the card. On the September 16 episode of AEW Rampage, “The Mad King” made it clear that he detests Guevara and he plans to beat the “piss” out of him once they’re in the same ring next week.

Plus, the Grand Slam Golden Ticket Battle Royal will feature several top competitors battling it out for a shot at the AEW World Championship. Hangman Page, Penta Oscuro, and RUSH, among others, have been confirmed for the match.

In a rematch from AEW All Out, Ricky Starks will look to even the score against his former Team Taz stablemate Powerhouse Hobbs. Likewise, in a continuation of their rivalry, Brody King and Buddy Matthews will battle Sting and Darby Allin in a No Disqualification match. King attacked Matt Hardy after Allin beat the veteran on Friday night and issued the challenge, noting that there’s plenty of venoms left in the snake’s fangs, even after Allin and Sting cut its head off.
Friday’s lone title match will see TBS Champion Jade Cargill defend her title against Diamanté, who stepped up to the champion and challenged her on Friday night. Diamanté teased that she won’t be coming alone next week.
Additionally, Jungle Boy will take on Rey Fenix in a singles match. Finally, TNT Champion Wardlow will join forces with ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe to face Josh Woods and Tony Nese.
