WWE Inks Licensing Deal To Produce Custom SEC Championships

WWE is linking up with the SEC for a new deal that will produce custom WWE Championship belts featuring all of the league’s schools.

On Monday, the Sports Business Journal reported WWE reached a new agreement to provide custom side plates for all 14 schools in the NCAA’s SEC (South Eastern Conference) athletic program.

According to the report, custom SEC championship plates will be “available for purchase later this fall ahead of conference championship games.”

Previously, WWE signed a licensing deal with Major League Baseball to provide custom plates for all 30 MLB teams.

Two more schools will join the league in 2025, as the University of Oklahoma (Sooners) and University of Texas at Austin (Longhorns) are confirmed to be moving over from the Big 12. It is unclear how the agreement will affect the two new schools when they are integrated into the new league.

Bianca Belair appeared on ESPN College GameDay over the weekend and showed off a Tennessee Volunteers-inspired title, as the school is her alma mater.
