Ronda Rousey Wins SmackDown Women’s Title At WWE Extreme Rules

The SmackDown Women’s title changed hands at WWE Extreme Rules and Ronda Rousey is once again champion.

In the second bout of the night, Ronda Rousey challenged Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules match. Morgan’s bat was a focal point as both women took turns using it.

Likewise, submissions were frequently used as Rousey finished the match by making Morgan pass out in a bicep stretch. The referee called the match and awarded Rousey with her second SmackDown Women’s title. Liv Morgan’s title reign ends at 98 days, as she originally defeated Rousey to win it at Money In The Bank on July 2.

SMACKDOWN WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP EXTREME RULES MATCH: LIV MORGAN (C) VS. RONDA ROUSEY

Morgan goes for a weapon. Ronda grabs her and tosses her across the ring. Rousey rolls Morgan into a cross-arm breaker. Morgan turns it into a pin. Rousey kicks out. Morgan grabs a bat. Rousey judo throws Morgan and takes the bat. Rousey throws the bat away. She doesn’t need it. High knee by Rousey. Rousey locks in an ankle lock. Morgan sends Rousey flying out of the ring. Morgan tries a baseball slide but Rousey traps her in the apron skirt. Rousey unloads on Morgan.

Morgan screams for more. Rousey gives it to her and knocks Morgan under the ring. Morgan sprays Rousey with a fire extinguisher. Morgan leaps off the steps and eats a shot with the bat from Rousey. Piper’s Pit out on the floor. Rousey works over Morgan. Morgan surprises Rousey with an enziguri. Morgan hits Rousey with the bat over and over again.

Rousey tosses her Gi at Morgan. Rousey ties Morgan up with her black belt against the ring post. Rousey wacks Morgan all over with a belt. Morgan pulls a table from under the ring. Morgan takes forever setting up the table before laying Rousey on it. Two count after a senton through the table. Rousey immediately traps Morgan in an armbar. Morgan lifts Rousey and powerbombs her on the broken table. Rousey kicks out again. Rousey and Morgan struggle. Rousey transitions into a biceps crusher. Morgan passes out.
