Nick Gage is GCW World Champion once again, taking down Jon Moxley in a shocking win during Night One of GCW Fight Club.
In a match that was billed as a “Title vs. Carer” match, it was Gage who would out with his career intact and a title to boot. The stellar main event came to a close after Gage utilize some help in the win. Late in the match, W. Morrissey appeared, entering the ring and chokeslamming Moxley three times, putting him through a piece of glass in the process. Gage then crawled over Moxley to pin him, but the reigning champion wouldn’t go down easy, kicking out.
After the kickout, though, things got worse for Moxley, as Gage would hit two massive piledrivers on Moxley, dropping him for good and allowing Gage to hit two piledrivers on Moxley to pin him for the win. Gage’s victory ends Moxley’s reign as GCW World Champion at 399 days, and gives Gage his third title reign in the company at the same time.
