WWE Extreme Rules: Edge vs. Finn Bálor (I Quit Match) Result

Edge and Finn Bálor put on a show during Extreme Rules, battling it out in an I Quit Match that ended after Judgment Day interfered and dealt a massive blow to Edge and his wife.

While the match itself saw Edge and Bálor go all throughout the arena, including the stands, it was in the ring that things ended in chaos. Just as Edge looked like he was ready to force Bálor to quit, all of Judgment Day came down, handcuffing Edge to the ropes and ambushing him in a vicious assault.

Rey Mysterio eventually did make his way down and uncuff Edge, but Dominik — Rey’s son — continued his feud against his father by assaulting him, throwing him into the security barricade various times to drop him.

Eventually, however, more help came in the form of Beth Phoenix, Edge’s wife, who dispatched all of Judgment Day for a moment. Unfortunately for her and Edge, though, the group’s numbers were too much, and Rhea Ripley eventually knocked out Phoenix with a pair of brass knuckles.

This led to Bálor eventually forcing Edge to quit by having Rhea Ripley threaten Phoenix with a chair shot. While Edge did quit the match, that didn’t stop the group, as Ripley hit Phoenix with a vicious chair shot before the group laughed and walked off.
