AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 10/26, Demo Rises As Well

AEW Dynamite viewership saw an increase on October 26, which was headlined by Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against Penta El Zero Miedo.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 997,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from the October 18 episode when 752,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.26 rating in the same demographic.

With the increase in viewership, AEW Dynamite took the fifth spot in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. They were defeated by ESPN’s coverage of NBA Basketball and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that continues to be their biggest rival from week to week, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with The Blackpool Combat Club defeating The Jericho Appreciation Society in tag team action when Claudio Castagnoli pinned current Ring of Honor World Champion Chris Jericho. The main event of the show saw Jon Moxley retain the AEW World Championship over Penta El Zero Miedo. Following the match, The Firm attacked Moxley, and MJF came out and fired the group. This led to the group attacking Friedman and putting him through a table to close the show.
