MLW Battle Riot IV Results – November 3, 2022: Who Gets A World Title Shot?

MLW Battle Riot IV Results – November 3, 2022

MLW Battle Riot IV kicked off with Sam Leterna backstage with the MLW World Tag Team Champions Hustle and Power as they draw their numbers for the Battle Riot matchup. Neither man would tell the other what number they got.

We head back to ringside as MLW Matchmaker Cesar Duran makes his way to the ring, flanked by two masked henchmen. Duran says whoever wins tonight’s Battle Riot match won’t be facing the current MLW World Champion, Alex Hammerstone, because they’ll be facing one of his luchadores who will defeat Hammerstone instead. This brings out the champion, who is placed in an impromptu handicap match for the championship.

Alex Hammerstone defeated Cesar Duran’s masked henchmen to retain the MLW World Championship

  • Alex Hammerstone takes out Duran’s henchmen in short order and delivers a Nightmare Pendulum on one of them in front of Cesar Duran to secure the pinfall victory.

Alex Hammerstone gets his hands on Cesar Duran after the match, but before he can do anything, he’s attacked from behind by Richard Holliday with a steel chair. Holliday leaves him lying in the ring, and the commentators speculate that the champion may have broken ribs.

It’s announced that the new season of MLW Fusion kicks off next week.

We see a segment for Mads Krügger, who is given a new mask and states that his mission doesn’t end until his target is eliminated.

The BOMAYE Fight Club is shown backstage drawing their numbers for the Battle Riot. Myron Reed uses a distraction to open multiple numbers until he gets one that he likes. Alex Kane also utilized a distraction from Reed to pick out a better number for himself as well.
