Austin Theory Cashes In Money In The Bank, Loses To Seth Rollins On 11/7 WWE RAW

In a surprising ending to the November 7 episode of WWE RAW, Austin Theory cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, but not on one of the two big belts he had his eyes set on originally.

Instead, Theory shocked the WWE Universe by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the WWE United States Championship. Rollins was far from 100% when Theory cashed in, as Bobby Lashley answered an open challenge and instead viciously attacked the champion until the referees seemingly declared the match a no-contest. Theory proceeded to cash in, hoping to capitalize on the vulnerable champion.

In a new match between Theory and Rollins, the challenger gained the upper hand. He not only managed to reverse a Pedigree attempt, but he hit Rollins with one of his own. After taking a powerbomb and dropped Rollins with the A Town Down, he attempted to pin Rollins, but Lashley pulled him out of the ring.

“The All Mighty” then delivered a beatdown to Theory, and he put the young star in the Hurt Lock. Theory barely avoided getting out, but the damage was already done; Rollins hit him with a Stomp and pinned him for the win.
