The TNT Championship will be up for grabs at AEW Full Gear, as a Triple Threat Match between Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and reigning champion Wardlow has been set.
During an in-ring segment on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Joe spoke with Tony Schiavone and wondered why Wardlow would not recognize him as “the most dangerous man in the room.” Joe said that anyone who has a problem with him can take it up with him, to which Powerhouse Hobbs interrupted and said that he’s been the one attacking Wardlow, and would do the same to Joe if he wanted.
Joe then challenged Hobbs to come into the ring and fight, but Wardlow quickly interrupted them, running into the ring and attacking Joe. This kickstarted a brawl between all three, to which Wardlow was left standing tall as he overpowered security. Shortly after the match, it was confirmed that the three would compete for the title at Full Gear.
