World Cup Semifinals, WarGames Advantage Match, And More Set For 11/25 WWE SmackDown

WWE is loading up the card for the November 25 episode of WWE SmackDown.

As announced during the November 18 episode, next week’s show will feature two semifinal matches in the SmackDown World Cup. Braun Strowman will face Ricochet, while Butch/Zayn will battle Santos Escobar. On Friday, Ricochet beat Mustafa Ali to advance to the next round, while Strowman defeated Jinder Mahal the previous week. Meanwhile, Escobar punched his ticket to the next round by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura on the November episode, while Butch defeated Sami Zayn on Friday night. Escobar will face Butch in the other semifinal next week.

Elsewhere on the show, Shotzi will team up with Raquel Rodriguez to face Shayna Baszler and SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. Rodriguez and Shotzi have formed an alliance in recent weeks, and the former NXT Women’s Champion came to her aid on Friday night. The fan-favorite faced Baszler in a singles match, and Rosey interfered throughout the match until Rodriguez came to ringside. With Rousey neutralized, Shotzi defeated Baszler ahead of her match with Rousey at Survivor Series.

Plus, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will face The Usos in the WarGames Advantage Match. On the November 18 episode, WWE announced that Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch will join forces with McIntyre to face The Bloodline in a WarGames Match. Later in the show, Kevin Owens revealed himself to be the fifth member of McIntyre’s team. The winner of the tag team bout on Friday will earn the entrance order advantage for their team in the WarGames Match.

The announced card for next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown is as follows:

  • SmackDown World Cup Semifinal: Ricochet vs. Braun Strowman
  • SmackDown World Cup: Santos Escobar vs. Butch
  • WarGames Advantage Match: Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vs. The Usos
  • Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez

WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
