Jay White And More Announced For 12/10 NJPW STRONG

Jay White will compete on the December 10 episode of NJPW STRONG.

As announced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and El Phantasmo will compete in an eight-man tag team match on the show; alongside the West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson), they will face Hikuleo, Tama Tonga, David Finlay, and Alan Angels.

Additionally, Christopher Daniels will face The DKC, and Kenny King will clash with Gregory Sharpe.

The preview, courtesy of NJPW’s website, is as follows:

Main event: Hikuleo, Tama Tonga, David Finlay & Alan Angels vs Jay White, El Phantasmo, Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs

Eight man action sees the alliance of Team Filthy and BULLET CLUB continue, Jay White and El Phantasmo enlisting the West Coast Wrecking Crew as they face Tama Tonga and Hikuleo of the Guerroillas of Destiny, as well as David Finlay and Alan Angels. Tama Tonga is making his first appearance on STRONG since the earliest days of the brand, while Hikuleo makes his last appearance on Saturday nights before he faces Karl Anderson December 14 in Sendai for the NEVER Openweight Championship. Next time we see the big man, will the championship landscape be a very different one?

2nd Match: The DKC vs Christopher Daniels

Starting with a betrayal of his former tag team partner Yuya Uemura, Christopher Daniels has been on a campaign to humiliate and eradicate the LA Dojo. One month ago on STRONG that led to a tainted victory over original Dojo member and defender of the tribe Rocky Romero, and  now the Fallen Angel is turning his sights to a current member in the DKC. After an impressive year has seen him earn significant wins, and ply his trade in Japan as well as the States, DKC is getting set to break out in 2023, the best way to do that may be to end this year with a huge win over an established veteran.

1st Match: Gregory Sharpe vs Kenny King

Kenny King makes his second STRONG appearance tonight as he takes on Gregory Sharpe. As we see Sharpe in ring in singles competition as opposed to his tag team partnership with Jakob Austin Young, could he dethrone the K-I-N-G, or will Kenny stay undefeated on Saturday nights?

The card is as follows:

  • Bullet Club (Jay White & El Phantasmo) and West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs) vs. Tama Tonga, Hikuleo, Alan Angels & David Finlay
  • Christopher Daniels vs. The DKC
  • Kenny King vs. Gregory Sharpe

WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Saturday.
