FTR To Defend ROH World Tag Titles Against The Briscoes At ROH Final Battle

Another title match has been added to ROH Final Battle.

On the December 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Despite their best effort, FTR were unsuccessful in their quest to add more gold to their collection, as The Acclaimed emerged victorious.

After the match, The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) gave FTR an early Christmas gift by announcing that Wheeler and Harwood will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against The Briscoes (Mark and Jay Briscoe) at ROH Final Battle. They shared the news by reading off a card that was seemingly written in blood by The Briscoes. Austin and Colten also revealed the stipulation for the bout by noting that it will be a Double Dog Collar Match.

FTR won the ROH World Tag Team Championship by defeating The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) at ROH Supercard of Honor XV in April. They retained the titles in a rematch against The Briscoes at ROH Death Before Dishonor, and the duo have also defended the gold on AEW programming. Most recently, Harwood and Wheeler beat Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) on the November 25 episode of AEW Rampage in a title match.

WrestleZone will have coverage of ROH Final Battle as it airs on December 10.
