Three matches have been announced for the “Holiday Bash” edition of AEW Dynamite.
On he December 21 episode of Dynamite, Hikaru Shida will challenge Jamie Hayter for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Shida earned the match after defeating The Bunny on the December 9 Rampage. The two have never had a singles match, but they have shared the ring in a few tag matches and in the four-way title match at this year’s All Out.
In Match 5 of the best-of-seven series Series, The Elite will take on Death Triangle in a No Disqualification match. This comes after Death Triangle used a hammer to win their previous matches in the series. Death Triangle currently has a 3-1 advantage after they beat The Elite on Wednesday. Their remaining matches will also have stipulations as Match 6 will be Falls Count Anywhere, and Match 7 will be “Escalara De La Muerte” – a ladder match to determine the undisputed AEW World Trios Champions.
Additionally, FTR will seek revenge when they take on The Gunns. It will mark their second standard tag team match this year after previously clashing in March. The Gunns attacked FTR after their brutal Double Dog Collar Match against The Briscoes at ROH Final Battle.
