Kurt Angle comments on whether or not he is interested in joining the WWE creative team and explains his strengths and weaknesses in and outside of the ring.

Kurt Angle is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of his generation. With several critically acclaimed matches under his belt, Angle is one wrestler whose career is reflected upon with mostly positive memories.

However, Kurt Angle’s strengths were undoubtedly between the ropes. Even though many great wrestlers in the past have transitioned into creative roles in WWE, that is currently not on Angle’s radar.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show, the former WWE Champion said he is currently focused on his family. While he is not against considering a creative roll down the line, he feels his strengths would be better suited in other capacities.

“Right now, my focus is my family. I spent so much time away from them that I love actually spending time with them. We’re literally going on three vacations this year. That’s how much time I’m spending with my family,” said Angle. “Not right now. I mean, maybe later. To be honest with you, I’m really good in the ring. I can teach technique; I can teach psychology. I’m not that creative at making storylines and drawing out stories and stuff like that. It was never my forte, but what I could do was take a script and cut it down good promo. There’s a big difference in creating it and doing it. I was better at doing it than creating it.”

Kurt Angle is currently under a legends contract with WWE and recently appeared on the December 9, 2022 episode of Friday Night SmackDown alongside inaugural WWE NIL signee and fellow Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson as part of Kurt’s birthday celebration where he got to relive one of his most notorious angles, driving the milk truck and spraying Chad Gable and Otis with milk.
