AEW World Tag Title Match, TBS Championship Bout Added To AEW Battle Of The Belts V

The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship on AEW Battle of the Belts V.

Caster and Bowens have been feuding for a few weeks, and the two teams clashed in a title match on the January 4 episode of AEW Dynamite. Lethal and Jarrett temporarily stole the win when “Double J” got the three count with The Stroke after Sonjay Dutt broke up a ropebreak. After referee Aubrey Edwards reversed the decision, Bowens clinched the victory with a roll-up on Lethal. Jarrett and Lethal were fired up after the loss, and AEW announced that they will get a rematch in a No Holds Barred Match on AEW Battle of the Belts V, which will air live after AEW Rampage on January 6.

Plus, TBS Champion Jade Cargill will defend her title against Skye Blue. Cargill scored the win in a tag team match against Blue and Kiera Hogan on Wednesday, even after her partner, Red Velvet, walked out on her.

The updated card for AEW Battle of the Belts V is below:

  • AEW All-Atlantic Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Kip Sabian
  • No Holds Barred Match for AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens (c) (with Billy Gunn) vs. Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett (with Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt)
  • TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Skye Blue

WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Friday.
