Jazmin Allure Recalls Advice She Received From AJ Lee At WOW Tapings

In her first three years in the game, Jazmin Allure has received some major opportunities.

Most recently, Allure made her official Women of Wrestling (WOW) debut over the weekend under the name of Jennifer “Jen Z” Florez. There, she suffered a loss to Gigi Gianni. However, she remains grateful to now be signed to the promotion, thanks to a little help from a former WWE Divas Champion.

Now an executive producer, AJ Lee — real name AJ Mendez — brought Allure into WOW last year and gave the “Top Tier” talent some memorable advice. “I wanna say the biggest advice she’s given me, and I think this is just life in general, the energy you put out is the energy you will receive, so always be nice to others,” she told Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture. “I think that is what I just apply in everything so that’s kinda what I’ve learned from her.”

In addition to her upcoming ventures on WOW, Jazmin Allure has made her mark in a couple of other major promotions. In July 2022, she competed on WWE’s Main Event against Tamina. Across the landscape of All Elite Wrestling, Allure has racked up more than a dozen appearances so far.

With her appearances on AEW Dark, Dark: Elevation, and even once on Dynamite, Allure believes those opportunities helped propel her forward in learning and in future bookings.

“It helped out a lot, especially because I was so new. I didn’t really know how to work cameras or how TV worked. So, to be in that environment and also learn from — they have so many legends back there that you can ask and they’re so helpful. Shoutout to Jerry Lynn, Dustin Rhodes. Those two are incredible. They’re so helpful with the talent. I am so grateful that I’ve met them. Being able to learn from them, and learning from your mistakes, like watching yourself back, and how you can improve on TV and stuff like that, it honestly helped me out a lot. Especially my career too, because I feel like I got a lot of bookings from that. So, shoutout to AEW Dark.”
