Kenny King Re-Signs With IMPACT Wrestling On One-Year Deal

Kenny King has re-signed with IMPACT Wrestling.

King announced the news in an interview with Adrian Hernandez of The Bet Las Vegas, King confirmed that he came to terms with the company on a one-year deal.

“The news is that your boy is staying put, man,” King said. “I felt like I had a really good year in IMPACT Wrestling. I feel like there’s so many more things to do, there’s so many more opponents that I’ve never even faced. Josh Alexander, Moose, Steve Maclin, that’s just a short list of guys that I’m eyeing, in targeting, I feel like we can make magic together.

“So I’ve signed another year deal with IMPACT Wrestling. The king, K-I-N-G, will remain in IMPACT Wrestling for the foreseeable future, or at least this year. So I’m really happy to announce that, and I’m really excited for what this year’s gonna bring”

King returned to the company in 2022 on the February 3 episode of IMPACT Wrestling and aligned with Honor No More. He was featured with the group until it broke up following Bound For Glory.

Previously, King worked for TNA from 2005-2006, and he also had a more substantial run with the company following his return in 2012. He had a prominent role as a member of The Beat Down Clan, and he left the company in 2015. King is a two-time TNA X-Division Champion. Otherwise, he worked for Ring of Honor for several years; he is a two-time ROH World Television Champion, and he also held the ROH World Tag Team Championship three times. The company went on hiatus at the end of 2021, and it did not renew the contracts of its talent roster.
