WWE NXT Vengeance Day Results (2/4/23)

NXT Women’s Championship Match: Kayden Carter and Kitana Chance (c) vs. Fallon Henley and Kiana James w/Briggs and Jensen

Carter slaps Jensen’s butt, which enrages James, who chases her around ringside. Henley and James can’t get on the same page, as James wants Henley to take shortcuts. This leads to Chance and Carter landing a moonsault/leg drop combo. Henley takes Chance down with a lariat. Henley and James take turns beating Chance down. Chance manages to tag in Carter. Carter clears the ring. Henley ends up against the bottom rope. Carter boots Henley through the ropes. Outside the ring. Chance is launched into the air by Carter. Chance flattens James and Henley.

James and Henley hit their finish, but Chance breaks up the pin. Carter dives off the apron and drops James with a cutter on the floor. Jame is out on the floor. Henley sets up a ranna on the top. but Chance cuts her off. Chance ranna’s Henley off of Carter’s shoulders. Carter and Chance set up their finish. James pushes Chance off the top rope. Henley rolls up Carter. James grabs Carter’s feet so she can’t kick out. Henley has no idea, but she gets the three count. Carter and Chance are shocked.

Two-Out-of-Three Falls Match: Carmelo Hayes w/Trick Williams vs. Apollo Crews

Melo and Crews stare each other down. The two lock up, but neither man can get an advantage. Crews takes Melo down in a side headlock. Melo counters with a head scissors. Crews gets to his feet. After a tackle dropdown spot. Hayes slaps Crews in the face, twice. Melo is feeling himself. Crews slaps Melo so hard he tumbles to the mat. Crews tells him to get his ass up. Melo tries a dropkick, but Crews catches his feet. Melo is slingshotted into the corner. Hayes tries a springboard, but Crews dropkicks him out of the air.

Crews sends Hayes into the turnbuckle chest first. Hayes tries another springboard, but Crews picks him out of the air and hits a German suplex. Crews gets in Williams’ face outside the ring. Hayes tries to a sneak attack, but Crews avoids it. Crews hits a moonsault out on the floor, crushing Hayes’ injured ribs in the process. Crews charges in, but Melo stuns him on the top rope. Melo works over Crews. Crews fires up and sends Melo flying across the ring with a back body drop. Crews lands a series of strikes.

Melo tries a suplex, but Crews escapes and lands another kick. Melo tries a springboard but gets kicked in the head by Crews. Crews deadlift suplexes Melo off the apron back into the ring. Melo kicks out. After a series of reversals, Hayes lands his head scissor facebuster. Crews kicks out. Hayes traps Crews in a crossface. Crews taps out.

Melo-1, Crews 0

After a strike exchange, Melo hits the ropes, but Crews flips him into a DDT. Melo kicks out. Melo dumps Crews out of the ring. Crews is almost counted out. As the referee is distracted, Williams pulls off one of the turnbuckle pads. Crews sends Melo into the exposed turnbuckle. Williams hops up on the apron with a chair. Daba Kato hops the barricade and pulls Williams down.  Crews and Kato dap each other up. Melo catches Crews with Nothing but Net for the pinfall.

Melo-2, Crews-0

Winner- Carmelo Hayes

After the match, Kato attacks Crews.
