Tensions continue to rise between Grayson Waller and Shawn Michaels.
At NXT Vengeance Day, Waller came up short when he challenged NXT Champion Bron Breakker for the gold in a Steel Cage Match. After the show, Waller crashed Michaels’ press conference and got fired up as he wondered what he had to do to be a top guy in NXT. Due to his outburst, Waller was suspended for one week.
The Australian star returned on the February 14 episode of NXT and faced Tyler Bate. Waller wound up with another loss, as the former NXT UK Champion surprised him with a pin.
Backstage, Waller confronted Shawn Michaels, WWE’s Senior ice President of Talent Development Creative, and called him a suit and a stooge. Michaels

Later in the show, Waller tweeted that Michaels kicked him out of the building. He claimed that Michaels had no idea how to treat an actual star. He called himself the biggest star in NXT and stated that Michaels should thank him for his presence. Waller said Michaels was a hypocrite, and he said “The Heartbreak Kid” doesn’t exist anymore. He then stated that he runs NXT.

As of this writing. it’s unclear whether Waller will be punished for his actions. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
